英語が得意ではない方が海外製造現場で外国人とコミュニケーションを取る上でとても大事なことは「基本的な単語だけは最低限覚えておく」ということです。
今は翻訳ツールである程度やり取りができますが、翻訳ツールを使わずに軽いコミュニケーションが取れると英語学習の意欲も湧いてきます。
ということで、今回は海外の製造拠点で仕事をする上で最低限覚えておきたい単語を３０個紹介します。
製造現場における、頻出単語・品質関連の単語・やり取りの単語をそれぞれ10個ずつになります。サクッと覚えてしまいましょう！
製造現場で頻出する単語（10個）

defect（欠陥）
The product has a critical defect.
その製品には重大な欠陥があります。
tolerance（許容差）
The parts must meet the specified tolerance.
部品は指定された許容差を満たす必要があります。
inspection（検査）
This part needs to go through final inspection.
この部品は最終検査を通す必要があります。
assembly（組立）

process（工程）

乾燥工程を改善する必要があります。
shipment（出荷）

downtime（稼働停止時間）
